Finding Solutions, Rather Than Fighting In Court

Based out of Buffalo, New York, we foster a commitment to understanding and addressing each client as an individual. We know there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all legal solution because we know there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all human being.

As part of that commitment, our firm maintains a vigorous mediation practice. In mediation, both parties often work without attorneys. Unlike going to trial and presenting your cases to a judge, though, you both present your case to a neutral third-party (called a mediator).

Our firm's founding lawyer, Gina DePrima, serves as that mediator. Attorney DePrima is a mediator for the Center for Dispute Resolution and Justice.

Experienced Legal Judgment

When you work with attorney DePrima as your mediator, you will rest easier knowing you have entrusted your matter to the judgment of a legal veteran. With more than a decade of experience in handling and resolving difficult family matters, attorney DePrima understands how human beings work and how to help them arrive at mutually-agreeable terms even in contentious situations.

As a result, she knows how to help people communicate effectively when communication may be at a premium. She also has knows how courts view cases that involve children. Understanding the determinative role that children's issues often play in cases for judges can help mediating parties reach an agreement that is more likely to withstand later legal scrutiny in case other conflicts should arise.
